Digital Downloads & Refunds
Last updated 27 September 2026
This page explains how buying and downloading 30MTAI software will work, your right to cancel, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Purchasing isn’t available yet. This page explains how downloads and refunds will work once purchasing opens. It doesn’t apply to anything today, because no purchase can currently be made through this website.
1. Downloadable software
30MTAI apps are Windows software supplied by download. We don’t send physical copies. Before you buy, check the system requirements to make sure the app will work on your computer.
2. How you get your download
After your payment is confirmed, you’ll be given access to download your software, along with the information you need to install it. We’ll confirm the exact steps at the point of purchase.
3. Two different sets of rights
When you buy 30MTAI software you have two separate sets of rights:
- A. Changing your mind — a right to cancel within 14 days, which ends once your download begins if you agree to that before it starts.
- B. If the software is faulty or not as described — your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Giving up A never affects B. Even after your download has begun and your right to cancel has ended, you keep all of your rights if the software is faulty or not as described.
4. A. Changing your mind (cancellation)
When you buy online you normally have 14 days to change your mind and cancel. For digital content that isn’t supplied on a physical medium, like a software download, this right ends when the download begins — but only if, before it begins:
- you have expressly asked for the download to start within the 14 days, and
- you have acknowledged that you will lose your right to cancel once it begins.
We’ll ask you for both before your download starts, using a box that you tick yourself — it will never be ticked for you. We’ll keep a record of your consent and acknowledgement, and include them in the confirmation of your order.
If you don’t give them, we won’t start your download during the 14-day cancellation period.
5. B. If the software is faulty or not as described
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any particular purpose you told us about, and as described. These rights apply whether or not your download has begun and whether or not your 14-day cancellation period has ended.
If the software doesn’t meet these standards:
- Repair or replacement. You can ask us to repair or replace it. We must do this within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you.
- Price reduction. If a repair or replacement isn’t possible, or we don’t complete it within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to you, you can ask for a reduction in the price. Depending on the problem, the reduction can be up to the full price you paid.
- Damage to your device. If the software damages your device or other digital content, and that damage wouldn’t have happened if we had used reasonable care and skill, we’ll repair the damage or pay you compensation.
If a problem appears within six months of the software being supplied to you, it is normally presumed to have been there from the start unless we can show otherwise.
If you’re entitled to a price reduction, we’ll pay it without undue delay and within 14 days of agreeing that you’re entitled to it, using the payment method you used unless you agree otherwise, and without charging you a fee.
6. Your legal rights
Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights. For more information, contact Citizens Advice or your local Trading Standards service.
