Privacy Policy

30MTAI is a UK-based independent software business creating practical Windows applications. For the personal information covered by this policy, the person operating 30MTAI is the data controller and is responsible for deciding how that information is used.

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us:

• Register Your Interest — your name, email address, the apps you select, anything you write in “Something else you’d like us to build?”, whether you ticked the box asking us to email you when those apps become available, and when you registered. We use this to record and respond to your interest and, only if you ticked the box, to email you when the apps you selected become available.
• Build an App enquiries — your name, email address, optional business or organisation name and phone number, your answers about the app you’d like, and any files you choose to attach. We use this to review your enquiry, reply to you and, where appropriate, prepare a quotation.
• Emails you send us — for example to support@30mtai.com. The Updates page can also open your own email app with a pre-written message to interest@30mtai.com; nothing is sent unless you send it yourself. We use your email and its contents to deal with your request.

We do not currently take payments through this website, and we do not ask you to provide payment card details to 30MTAI. We also don’t ask for passwords, your address or other sensitive information through this website, and you don’t need an account to use it.

Data protection law requires a lawful basis for using personal information. Ours are:

• Consent — to email you when the apps you selected become available. We only do this if you tick the box, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
• Steps you ask us to take before any agreement — to review and respond to a Build an App enquiry.
• Legitimate interests — to record and respond to your registration of interest, to answer emails you send us, and to run the website securely. We only rely on this where it doesn’t override your own interests and rights.
• Legal obligation — where we are required by law to keep certain information.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing. We use a small number of service providers to run the website and handle messages. They act on our instructions:

• Netlify — hosts this website and runs the code that receives form submissions.
• Resend — delivers form submissions (Register Your Interest and Build an App) to our inbox by email, once that service is switched on. Until then, those forms tell you that your details have not been sent.
• Our email provider — hosts the 30MTAI mailboxes that receive your emails and form submissions.
• Google Fonts — provides the typefaces used on this website. They are loaded as an external service: when a page loads, your browser requests the fonts directly from Google’s servers, which receive technical information such as your IP address.
• Supabase — used only for a private administration sign-in. It isn’t used to store information from the public forms.

We may also share information where the law requires us to.

Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. We are confirming the details of where each provider processes information and the safeguards that apply, and will set them out here. You can ask us about this at any time at admin@30mtai.com.

• Register Your Interest — until we’ve told you that the apps you selected are available, or until you ask us to delete your registration or withdraw your consent, whichever comes first.
• Build an App enquiries — files you send us are deleted when the review and quotation process is complete, except where we are required to keep information for legal or administrative reasons.
• Emails — for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up, and otherwise only where we are required to keep them.

This website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and form submissions are handled on the server rather than in your browser. Access to the information you send is limited to 30MTAI and the service providers listed above. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please only send what we need.

This website doesn’t set cookies for visitors, and it doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies.

The only information this website saves in your browser is for the private administration sign-in: when an administrator signs in, a session is kept in the browser’s local storage so they stay signed in. This is strictly necessary for that sign-in and isn’t used for visitors.

The website’s typefaces are fetched from Google Fonts by an external request from your browser, as described in “Who we share it with”. This website doesn’t set a cookie as part of that request. If we ever add non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your information;
• ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it;
• ask us to transfer information you gave us to you or someone else;
• withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on it — for example, to stop us emailing you when the apps you selected become available. This doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Some of these rights only apply in certain circumstances. To use any of them, email admin@30mtai.com. For your Register Your Interest registration you can also email interest@30mtai.com.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first at admin@30mtai.com so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

We’ll update this policy when the way we use personal information changes — for example, before purchasing opens on this website. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
